CA meet put off for another week

KATHMANDU, Apr 7: After CA chairman urged UCPN-M Chief Whip Giriraj Mani Pokharel and MJF(D) Chief Whip Ram Janam Chaudhari over phone to participate in Monday’s meeting as it was not going to enter into agenda and was scheduled to just pass the condolence proposals, the opposition alliance decided to send their representatives. UCPN-M Chief Whip Pokharel represented the UCPN-M at the meeting. MJF(D) Chairman Gachhadar and representatives of most of other opposition parties were present at the meeting that passed two condolence proposals unanimously on the demise of former MP from Nepali Congress Mahendra Yadav and former CA member from CPN-UML Ram Nath Dhakal. Yadav passed away on March 31 due to brain tumor and Dhakal succumbed to multiple ailments, including swine flu.
