Garissa attack: Kenya government tries to restore confidence

KENYA, Apr 9: The government in Kenya is trying to restore public confidence in its security forces – one week after nearly 150 people were killed by Islamist Militants at a college in the north of the country.

Amid criticism that it could have done more to prevent the attack, the authorities have suspended the accounts of scores of individuals and companies suspected of having links with the Somali militant group al-Shabab.

Milton Nkosi reports.
