Swine-flu claims another life in Jajarkot

JAJARKOT, APR 15: Swine flu has claimed one more life in Jajarkot on Wednesday taking the toll to 17.

The individual, identified as Dal Bahadur Shahi, 58, of Talegaun-7, died of the disease early today morning.

The National Public Health Laboratory on Tuesday had confirmed that three of the 10 samples collected from patients in Jajarkot tested positive for swine flu.

The hitherto unknown disease that broke out two weeks ago in the remote district has taken 16 lives so far while hundreds of people have fallen sick in a dozen Village Development Committees.
