Arrangement of temporary shelter within mid-July: Minister Acharya



Chitwan, May 29: Minister for Law, Justice, Constituent Assembly and Parliamentary Affairs, Narahari Acharya, has said that political parties should involve in relief and rehabilitation task by changing the existing government into a national unity government.

Talking to media persons at Bharatpur Airport today, Minister Acharya argued that no discussion was held regarding formation of a national unity government as was said by the CPN (UML) and the UCPN (Maoist).

Stating that the government would carry out works within a few days for the reconstruction of the quake-hit areas, he said no problem has surfaced in relief distribution.

Minister Acharya said, “The government will address the issues raised in the House regarding the quake-hit areas and will make arrangement of temporary settlements to those, who became homeless due to the quake, within Ashad (mid-July).”

The relief distributed at the present is only for the emergency relief and the long-term relief still remains to be distributed, he added. RSS
