3 women die in lightning strike

BIRATNAGAR, JUN 02 – Three women died after being struck by lightning in Sunsari and Saptari districts on Monday evening.

Sabitridevi Sah, 55, of Tanmuna-5 and Laxmi Mandal, 45, of Narsing-3 in Sunsari and Manju Devi Sah of Kanchanpur-4 in Saptari died after the lightning cases, the Eastern Regional Police Office, Biratnagar , said.

Laxmi Mandal died in a hospital while two others breathed their last on the spot. RSS
