Goma Air meets with minor accident at Pokhara



POKHARA, June 2: A Goma Air plane has met with a minor accident here at Pokhara Airport on Tuesday morning.

The 9-N AKY aircraft which took off from Jomsom met with an accident at the runway while landing at the airport. According to Dipak Baral, chief at the Pokhara Airport, the accident took place as the nosewheel of the aircraft could not be opened while landing.

The aircraft is still lying at the runway and yet to be removed. According to Airport sources, it would take some time to remove the aircraft from the runway.

The airport has been obstructed after the accident. The Goma Air had been operating flights from Pokhara-Jomsom since last year.
