UCPN (M) to observe promulgation of new constitution as historic occasion

In a press statement Thursday, party General Secretary Krishna Bahadur Mahara has directed the party rank and file to observe deepawali on the same day that rarely comes in the country’s history and support a joint political mass meeting scheduled for September 21 wholeheartedly so as to make the event successful.

The Constituent Assembly is set to announce the promulgation of the Nepal’s Constitution-2015 at 5:00pm on September 20.

Beside, the party has termed the endorsed bill of the new constitution as a document of guaranteeing the rights of Tharus, indigenous, Madhesis, women, dalits and called one and all to rejoice it as a victory of national sovereignty. RSS
