Kathmandu, Oct. 4: National Cricket Team captain Paras Khadka has expressed serious concern over the publication of a news report in the Annapurna post vernacular daily, which said that he had been removed from the post of captain on disciplinary grounds.
Speaking at a press conference here today, he said the news report had affected him personally and professionally, and announced that he would be seeking a clarification from the daily today itself. “I will follow the due legal process if I do not receive any satisfactory response from Annapurna post”, he said.
He also made it clear that there was no truth behind any issue of the disciplinary committee of Cricket Association of Nepal or CAN talking to him about any matter, as yet.
It may be noted that CAN too had refuted the news report published in the daily on October 2.
