Constitution amendment proposal to be forwarded on consensus
Kathmandu, Jan 19: A meeting was held today between the Nepali Congress leaders and the UCPN (Maoist) chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
In the meeting discussions were held on forwarding the constitution amendment proposal registered in the Legislature-Parliament through consensus. The meeting took place at the NC president Sushil Koirala’s residence at Maharajgunj.NC vice-president Ram Chandra Poudel, who was present in the meeting, said that the talks dwelt on forwarding the constitution amendment proposal on consensus basis.
President Sushil Koirala, vice-president Poudel, general secretary Prakash Man Singh, central member Mahesh Acharya and chief whip Chinkaji Shrestha participated in the talks from the Nepali Congress.
