Sports Minister pledges budget for stadium construction in Janakpur
Janakpur, March 12: Minister for Youth and Sport Satya Narayan Mandal has said the government has a plan of constructing a stadium of international standard in every province as the country has already switched to a federal model.
Inspecting the condition of physical infrastructure for the construction of proposed Shreeram Janaki Stadium at Janakpur Sub metropolis- 14 today, the Sports Minister pledged his best to ensure the allocation of budget for the construction of stadium in the coming fiscal year.
He insisted on the keeping the identity of Mithila region, a historical place, alive.
Minister of State for Peace and Reconstruction Deep Narayan Saha blamed for widespread corruption in the local level for hindering development endeavors in Janakpur.
