NC President Deuba and Indian Foreign Secretary Jaishankar meet



Kathmandu, March 15: Foreign Secretary of India, S Jaishankar, has today met with newly elected President of the Nepali Congress, Sher Bahadur Deuba, and congratulated him on his election to the post.

During the meeting held at Deuba residence at Budhanilkantha, they discussed on mutual relations between the two countries, said Nepal Press Union President, Badri Sigdel.On the occasion, President Deuba expressed the belief that the mutual relations between the two countries would further strengthen in the days ahead.
Secretary Jaishankar is here to participate in SAARC Foreign Ministers’ meeting taking place in Pokhara.

Similarly, Political chief of United Nations Development Programme, Nepal, Martin Howells, also reached Budhanilkantha and congratulated Deuba.

On the occasion, they discussed about the development programmes run in Nepal.
Likewise, German Ambassador to Nepal, Matthias Mayer, also congratulated the newly elected NC President Deuba.
