Nothing new in joint agreement signed with China : Chair Yadav

KATHMANDU: Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal (FSFN) Chairman Upendra Yadav said that a stern protest would be launched from mid-April if the government did not address demands of Madhes by that time.

Speaking at the Reporters’ Club in the Capital on Friday, he said, “A peaceful movement will be launched by uniting Tarai, Pahad and Himal. Nepali people will not tolerate corruption, inflation and black marketing now.”

“People will go for a revolt. The government has time till mid-April to address the demands of the Madhes. I do not think the government will utilise the opportunity,” he said.

The FSF-N Chairman claimed that the Constitution would not be implemented until the government amended it.

On a different note, Yadav said that the 10 point-joint agreement signed with China during Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s visit to the northern neighbour was not new.
