PM lays foundation stone for Pokhara Int’l Airport



Kathmandu, April 13: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli today laid the foundation stone for the construction of the Pokhara Regional International Airport.

The expanse of the airport straddles 3,735 ropanis of land property in Pokhara Sub-Metropolis 14, 15 and 16.

It is the second international airport to be built under Chinese support. The airport will be built in the next four years as per the national master plan.

On the occasion, PM Oli said the construction of the airport will open the doors of economic prosperity in the entire country not just Pokhara. He expressed commitment to complete the construction of the airport in the stipulated time frame.
