Khadka and Lama to partake in International Karate Championship

Kathmandu, April 20: Janak Singh Khadka and Sunil Lama are representing Nepal in the International Karate Championship scheduled for April 24 in New York in the United States of America.

Meanwhile, in a press conference organised by Nepal Karate Federation (NKF) in the Capital today, NKF President Dawa Gurung bade farewell to Khadka and wished him a success. He also handed Nepal’s flag to Khadka.

Khadka will compete under 67 kilograms weight category while Lama, who already is in the USA, will fight under 60 kilograms weight group.

Earlier in 2014, Khadka received bronze medal in the US Open Karate Championship held in the USA.

Also, Gurung informed that both Khadka and Lama will fly to Canada directly from the USA to take part in Montreal Open Karate Championship slated for May 14 in Canada. RSS
