Kirati roars to replace the Oli led goverment



Kathmandu, April 21: UCPN-Maoist Standing Committee member Mr. Gopal Kiranti demanded that the current government led by CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli be replaced with the new one with the leadership of the party chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda at the earliest.

Speaking at the face-to-face program organzied by the Reporters’ Club Nepal on Thursday, Leader Kiranti said the incumbent government was working against the nation. “The government of KP Oli is one of the dangerous and the traitorous governments in the history”.

“A consensus government should be formed under the leadership of UCPN-Maoist Chairman Prachanda,” Kiranti proposed, referring to own party Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, “If that is not possible, a government can be formed under the leadership of Sher Bahadur Deuba.”

“The UML-led government has betrayed us,” he said, “The UCPN-Maoist is tired of KP Oli. This government cannot last long.”

Kirati has urged the Maoist party to pull out of the government and withdraw the support extended to it at the earliest. He claimed that around 50 Central Committee members of the party were in favour of withdrawing support extedned to the government. He added that he would hold discussions over it at the CC, politburo and parliamentary party.

Rai claiming that the party unity among Maoist’s would only refill the vacant of Maoist’s movement, He said,” Party unity among Maoist’s is necessary.”
