NC to coordinate between government and agitation Madhesi Morcha: Poudel

Nawalparasi, May 23: Nepali Congress senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel has said that his party will coordinate to resolve the Tarai issues.

Speaking in a face to face programme organised by the Reporters’ Club Nepal’s Nawalparasi chapter today, leader Poudel said that NC will mediate between the government and agitating parties to sort out the problems.

He added that his party will play a leading role to implement the constitution adding that the party had played a crucial role to promulgate the constitution, speaking at the program presided by chapter’s president Purushottam Subedi.

In another note, leader Poudel opined for holding local bodies’ election as per the federal set up saying that holding election on the previous VDC and municipality set up was irrelevant.

He added that the incumbent government could not perform well in favour of the people therefore, his party would move ahead to outlet the deadlock.
