UDMF leaders neglect all party meeting



Kathmandu, May 24: Leaders of the United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) have not attended an all-party meeting called by Prime Minister KP Oli on Today. The Prime Minister had called the all-party meeting to resolve the contemporary issues.

According to the source, Madhesi leaders did not attend the meeting as the government was not seen serious towards addressing the demands raised by the UDMF.

Chairman of the Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal (FSF-N), Upendra Yadav on Monday had already clarified at the Reporters’ Club Nepal’s face-to-face program, that the agitating forces would not sit for talks with the government until the latter addressed their demands.

Their demands include rewriting of the recently promulgated constitution and release of cadres and leaders arrested across the Tarai.
