PM Dahal directs for speedy maintenance of damaged roads and bridges in Dolakha



Kathmandu, Aug 7: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has directed Secretary at the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport Management, Arjun Bahadur Karki, to immediately repair the roads and bridges damaged by floods and landslides in Dolakha district.

Prime Minister Dahal issued such directive owing to the difficulty the Dolakha people are facing on daily mobility and transportation. He also directed the Ministry officials to set up a bailey bridge over the Dhodi rivulet soon after a delegation of the CPN (Maoist Centre), Dolakha, drew his attention to this regard.

During the meeting held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Minister at Singha Durbar on Sunday, CPN (Maoist Centre) Dolakha District Chairman, Bishal Khadka, said that PM Dahal directed the Secretary Karki to resolve the problems while Secretary Karki assured of installing a bailey bridge on the rivulet within a few days.

The delegation also drew the PM’s attention on the work procedure formulated on the post reconstruction activities, saying it was not liberal. PM Dahal assured of resolving the problems, saying he has taken the problems seriously, it was reported. RSS
