Mahar elected as the new president of NSU

Kathmandu, Aug 18: Nain Singh Mahar has been elected as the new Presidnet of Nepal Student Union President on Thursday.

Mahar, who hails from NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba’s hometown Dadeldhura, received 1,334 votes. His nearest rival Manoj Mani Acharya received 1,209 votes.

Likewise, Kundan Raj Kafle and Saroj Thapa won the election for General Secretary posts.
