DPM Nidhi leaves for New Delhi as special envoy of PM



Kathmandu, Aug 18: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Bimalendra Nidhi on Thursday left for the Indian Capital of New Delhi as the special envoy of Nepal Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.

Before flying to Delhi, Nidhi said he would strive to strengthen bilateral ties between the two nations during his Delhi trip.

The second man of the incumbent coalition government also said he would prepare grounds for India visits by Nepal’s President Bidya Devi Bhandari and PM Dahal.

According to DPM Nidhi, PM Prachanda’s India visit likely in September.
