During an interaction program organized by Reporters’ Club Nepal, presided by the club President and senior journalist Rishi Dhamala, he said, “The tabling of bill is a plot to disrupt the environment for election.”

“If the Prachanda led government has been formed in order to implement the constitution and protect its outcomes, I demand local level elections to be held by Baisakh and other election before 2074 Magh 7,” he added. “UML is ready to lend any positive support for election purposes.”

In another note, he said that relationship between Nepal and India is historical, and expressed his belief that the relationship between two countries will always be based on support and understanding.

He added, “Every country has its own tenderness. Our party will not mock with our neighboring countries’ tenderness; they can’t scorn with ours too.”
