‘Miss inter-continental universe’ to be held in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU, March 2: Contestants from 25 countries including among others the US, the UK and Russia are gathering in Kathmandu to vie for the title of ‘Miss Inter-continent Universe’.

Mayur Himalayan Private Limited is hosting the event that is taking place in the capital from March 22 to April 1.

Speaking at a press meet held on wednesday to shed light on the international beauty pageant, Chairperson of Mayur Himalayan Samikshya Shrestha said the international event is being held in Nepal with the objective of promoting Nepal’s costume and culture in the world.

The winner, first runner-up and second runner-up in the event will win a cash prize of 5,000, 2,000 and 1,000 US dollars respectively. RSS
