Education Regulation fit to federalism will be endorsed: PM Dahal

KATHMANDU, March 31: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that the government has prepared to endorse the Education Regulation as per the Education Act 2073 (eighth amendment).

In a meeting with the representatives of Teacher’s Federation at his official residence at Baluwatar on Friday, Prime Minister Dahal stating that the new constitution has given special rights to local bodies concerning education sector he said, “it will be systematized with passing and implementing the Education Regulation as per the Education Act.”

The Teachers’ Federation had handed over a memorandum to PM Dahal demanding to immediately endorse the Education Regulation and reinstating the teachers displaced during the 10 years long Civil War.
