First International Fashion Week in Nepal concludes
KATHMANDU, May 5: The first ever International Fashion Week has concluded in Kathmandu on Thursday.
The fashion fair, which started on Sunday, was organized by Fashion Revolution Nepal, at Moksh in Jhamsikhel.
“The Fair featured environmental awareness programs among designers and consumers promoting sustainable resources while manufacturing clothing,” said media co-ordinator of Fashion Revolution Nepal, Tascha Karma.
Fashion Revolution, a UK-based organisation, started the initiative in 2013.
During the show, Celebrity British designer Lars Anderson, showcased his designs. Likewise, Kallisto Designs, Sabah Nepal and other notable Nepali designers had presented their designs.
UK-based model Anita Limbu and media personality Shubha Acharya were the local showstoppers during the gala event.
