Baywatch is what the world needs right now: Priyanka Chopra

LOS ANGELES, June 19: Priyanka Chopra thinks Baywatch is the kind of film the world needs right now and we understand why.

She also admits that things got heated, literally!

The actress had a great time making the ‘fun and silly’ film and believes that during these tense times, it will be the exact thing people need to see.

‘I play a complete villain. It’s so much fun to play a baddie in a comedy, because you can do the most ridiculous things and they work’, said the 34-year-old. ‘It’s such a fun, silly movie. I hope people will get a couple of laughs and enjoy themselves. The world needs a little bit of laughter right now.’

However, it was not all fun and games for Priyanka as she admits things got a little heated on set.

She told Hello magazine: ‘It was actually a really hard movie to shoot because it was four months of 15-hour days in the Miami heat.’

The Bollywood actress, who stars alongside Zac Efron and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson in the film, also speaks fondly of Dwayne’s hard work ethic.

‘I was amazed that Dwayne would be up and working out from five in the morning.’-AGENCIES
