PM instructs officials to fill pits on Kathmandu road within next 15 days
KATHMANDU,July 16: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has directed the concerned authorities to fill pits on the roads of Kathmandu within the next 15 days.
Expressing sorrow and sympathy over the incidents of school girls Binita Phuyal and Shatya Sapkota, Dahal instructed the officials of Department of Road, Drinking water projects and road expansion projects to start working immediately to improve the condition of roads in the valley.
The 11 years old, Phuyal had died in Nepaltar on Friday after she fell into a drain. Likewise, The 9th grade school girl, Sapkota was rescued after she fell into a drain in Samakhusi.
Deuba has also directed the authorities to work in coordination.
