Former King Gyanendra discharged from hospital
KATHMANDU, July 21: Former King Gyanendra Shah has been discharged from the Norvic International Hospital at around 3 pm on Friday.
Shah was admitted to hospital on Wednesday morning after signs of some clog in his arteries were detected during a medical check-up.
He was discharged after his health condition became normal, said surgeon Dr Shivaji Silwal.
A team of Dr Yadav Dev Bhatta had performed coronary angioplasty on him.
General Manager of the hospital along with a team had bid farewell to the ex-King. “Thank You Norvic. Thank You Ravi,” said Shah while leaving the hospital.
