NC leader Poudel stresses on unity and activism



POKHARA, July 30: Nepali Congress (NC) senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel has directed the party leaders and cadres to engross their efforts with unity and activism for the upcoming provincial and federal elections.

At an interaction with NC frontline cadres on Saturday, senior leader Poudel stressed the urgency of NC victory in upcoming provincial and federal elections for the safeguarding of the nation and democracy.
The authoritarian character of the CPN-UML was a threat to democracy, he said, democracy in crisis would indicate the nation under threat.

Admitting that his party has come across several complications, Poudel underlined the need to develop a shared feeling among every leader and cadre that the party should win.

Leader Poudel urged the cadres to remain proactive in winning public confidence for the party victory in coming elections.

Speaking on the occasion, NC Kaski President Krishna KC, former President Soviet Bahadur Adhikari, Annapurna rural municipality Chairperson Yubaraj Kunwar, Dev Raj Chalise, Gangadhar Parajuli, Shiromani Baral, Laxmi Pandey and Nilakantha Sharma said the party should internalize the loss in recently held local elections and put their efforts from respective sides to emerge party the victorious in coming elections.
