Free visa, free ticket soon: Minister Mansoor

RAJBIRAJ, August 2: Minister for Labour and Employment, Farmullah Mansoor, has said that the free visa, free ticket scheme would be implemented soon to prevent the youths heading abroad for work from being swindled.

The Minister on Tuesday inquired into the activities of Secure Migration and Information Centre in Rajbiraj and spoke with migrant workers who were tricked by manpower companies.

Minister Mansoor assured of quickly enforcing the new provision to facilitate the workers from poor economic background.

The Minister complained that the failure to implement the provision introduced two years ago was resulting in more migrant workers being swindled across the country. He added that as the cheaters do not leave evidences it was hampering the effectiveness of the legal process for action. RSS
