Constitution’s full–fledged implementation after provincial and parliamentary elections: PM Deuba
BHIMDATTANAGAR, Sept 1: Prime Minister and Nepali Congress’ President, Sher Bahadur Deuba, has said the constitution implementation is taking its course and that it would be completed with the conclusion of the elections of the provincial assemblies and the parliament.
At a press conference organized by Nepal Press Union, Kanchanpur Chapter in Bhimdattanagar on Friday, PM Deuba said that consultations had already taken place with the political parties on the two elections.
“We have consulted with all the parties,” PM Deuba said adding, “The local level election is going to be held in Province no 2.”
The PM was of the opinion that the federal republic will be institutionalized in the country once the constitution implementation takes its course after the conclusion of the elections.
Noting that his state visit to India was a success, PM Deuba said along with the Pancheshwor Project a dry port will also be constructed at Dodharachandani.
He elaborated further that a technical education institute will be set up in Province no 7 and concrete bridges and embankments constructed at Darchula’s Joljibi section and Dadeldhura’s Parashuram section of the Mahakali river.
“The India visit was a success,” Deuba said, and added “We have reached an agreement with the Indian government on developing the far western region.”
PM arrived on Thursday to lay the foundation stone of the four-lane concrete bridge being built over the Mahakali river. He will return to the Capital today. RSS
