Big three parties have done nothing for Terai region: Upendra Yadav

Yadav

JANAKPUR, Sept 11: Upendra Yadav, Chairperson of Federal Socialist Forum Nepal, has said that the main opposition party CPN-UML has no moral basis for asking for votes in the Terai region.

“The UML voted against the constitution amendment proposal brought to ensure the rights of Madhesi people. They did a grave mistake. They have lost moral basis to seek vote in Madhes,” said Yadav while speaking at an interaction program organized by the Reporters’ Club Janakpur of Monday.

He also accused Nepali Congress and CPN (Maoist Center) of doing nothing for the region.

“Like UML, NC and MC also don’t actually care for Madhesi people. All are same. They have suppressed and murdered the sons of Madhesi people when in government,” added Yadav.

He also expressed his confidence that his party would win many seats in Province 2 elections stated for September 18.
