President Bhandari at Abu Dhabi

ABU DHABI, Nov 14:
President Bidhya Devi Bhandari reached Abu Dhabi on Monday evening on an official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

President Bhandari embarked on the visit at the cordial invitation of UAE’s Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and UAE’s Armed Forces’ deputy supreme commander, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

President Bhandari was received by UAE Minister for Human Resources and Emiratisation Nasser bin Thani Juma Al Hamli at the Abu Dhabi International Airport.

Also present on the occasion were Nepal’s Charge d’ Affaires to UAE Netra Bahadur Tandon, officials of the Nepali Embassy and protocol officers of UAE.

Minister for Supplies Jayant Chand is also with President Bhandari in this trip.
President Bhandari is making this visit on the occasion of 40 years of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Nepal and UAE.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, President Bhandari and Crown Prince Nahyan will hold official talks today.

President Bhandari is accompanied by her daughter Nisha Kusum Bhandari, President’s Foreign Affairs expert Dr Madan Kumar Bhattarai, Secretary at Foreign Ministry Shanker Das Bairagi, Secretary at President’s Office Bhupendra Prasad Poudel, President’s main personal secretary Bhesh Raj Adhikari, senior officials of the President’s Office and Ministry of Foreign Affairs and media persons in the official trip.
