Nepal’s communist movement at a historic juncture: Chair Dahal

CHITWAN, Nov 15: CPN (Maoist Center) chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that Nepal’s communist movement has reached a historic turning point and will soon form a single powerful communist party.

Addressing a joint program organized by Nepal Democratic Darai Association and the Darai National Liberation Front in Bharatpur on Wednesday, he said only the communists could protect and promote the rights and interests of all the oppressed and downtrodden communities.

He added, only a powerful government of the communists can safeguard the nationality and work for the country’s development.

The Maoist Center chairman further added that the Darai community has played an important role in the movements for political change and the days were near when the dreams and aspirations of all the oppressed communities would be fulfilled.

Former Prime Minister Dahal is contesting the House of Representatives election from Chitwan constituency-3.

Candidate towards the proportional representation category under the House of Representatives election, Mangal Ram Darai, former lawmaker Santuram Darai, among other community leaders urged the voters to vote for the leftist alliance’s candidates in the elections and ensure their victory. RSS
