NC’s Rajan KC defeats MC’s Hitman Shakya in Kathmandu-10

KATHMANDU, Dec 9: Nepali Congress’ democratic alliance candidate Rajan KC has emerged victorious as a House of Representative member from Kathmandu constituency-10. KC, also the Minister for Sports, garnered 24,190 votes to defeat his rival from CPN (Maoist Center) and left alliance candidate Hitman Shakya who got 21,907 votes.

KC had defeated CPN (Maoist Center) Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal in Constituency Assembly Election 2013 from the same constituency.
