Pakistani PM Abbasi arrives in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU, March 5: Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has arrived in Kathmandu on a two-day visit.

He was received by the Finance Minister Dr Yuba Raj Khatiwada at the Tribhuvan International Airport at 3:38 pm today. Abbasi will be offered guard of honor at Nepal Army Pavilion at 5:30 in the evening.

Before this, the guard of honor used to be offered to the visiting delegations at the VVIP longue of Tribhuvan International Airport. But, Prime Minister Oli decided to revise the system

The Pakistani prime minister has come to Nepal to congratulate Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli. During his stay, PM Oli will hold bilateral talks with his counterpart Abbasi at Hotel Yak and Yeti after receiving guard of honor.
