Indian Home Minister welcomes PM Oli in New Delhi
KATHMANDU, April 6: Prime Minister KP Sharma has reached in New Delhi in course of his three-day State visit to India.
India’s Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Minister of State for Finance, Shiv Pratap Shulka, welcomed the Prime Minister at the Indira Gandhi International Airport. He landed at around 10:15 am today morning.
New Delhi-based Nepali Embassy’s charge d’affaires Bharat Kumar Regmi and India’s Ambassador to Nepal, Manjeev Singh Puri were also at the airport to receive the Prime Minister.
“Neighborhood first! Prime Minister of Nepal K.P. Sharma Oli and Mrs. Radhika Shakya were warmly welcomed by Home Minister Rajnath Singh on their arrival in India. This is the first State visit of Prime Minister Oli after being elected as Prime Minister of Nepal,” tweeted Official Spokesperson of Ministry of External Affairs Raveesh Kumar.
