DIG Kharel steps down
KATHMANDU, April 11: Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Nepal Police, Ramesh Kharel has stepped down from the post on Wednesday citing the government failed to properly evaluate his performance evaluation.

Earlier, expressing dissatisfaction over the IGP appointment, Kharel had announced that he would resign from the post.
Kharel, who joined Nepal Police in 1990, February 11, announced his resignation through facebook. “I would like to congratulate newly appointed IGP and wish for a fulfilling tenure. I would also like to end 29 years of my service from Nepal Police today,” Kharel posted on facebook.
