Prime Minister to address nation from Rara Lake in New Year
KATHMANDU, April 13: Prime Minister K P Sharma is scheduled to address in the name of nation from Rara Lake, Mugu on the occasion of Nepal New Year, which falls on Baisakh 1(April 14).
On the occasion, the prime minister will also inaugurate the Rara Tourism Year, according to the Office of Prime Minister.
A meeting of the cabinet of Karnali Province last month had decided to observe Nepali New Year as Rara-Karnali Visit Year-2075. The province government has also requested all the tourists to visit Rara once in a life time to experience natural beauty of the region.
The prime minister will also visit Dhorpatan area and spend the night in Dunai, Dolpa. He will also inaugurate school enrollment program in Mugu.
