DPR on Nepal-China cross-border railway soon: Foreign Minister

KATHMANDU, April 18: Foreign Minister Pradeep Gyawali has said that a detailed project report (DPR) on cross-border railway link between Nepal and China will be prepared soon.

“We will conduct feasibility study and start making ready a detailed project report for Nepal-China cross-border railway line very soon,” Minister Gyawali told reporters upon his arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport from his five day China visit.

The line is to stretch from Keyrong to Kathmandu and from Kathmandu to Pokhara and Lumbini.
