Federalism at risk, says FSFN Chair Yadav
RAJBIRAJ, May 25: Chairperson of the Federal Socialist Forum Nepal (FSFN) Upendra Yadav Thursday said that federalism would be at a risk unless local and provincial levels are empowered with their full rights.
He also stressed the need for saving federalism, while accusing the incumbent government of continuing discriminations and inequality against Madhesi people.
“There is not any participation of Madhesi people on political appointments made by the government. Participation in any state organ should be based on opportunity and population,” he said talking to media-persons at Rajbiraj in Saptari.
He also demanded an amendment to the constitution, which he said is to prosper people from all communities including Madhesi, indigenous nationalities and Janajatis. RSS
