Overall development mandatory for country’s prosperity: Minister Bishwokarma

POKHARA, May 27: Minister for Youth and Sports, Jagat Bahadur Bishwokarma, has called overall development spanning all sectors a mandatory factor for the country’s prosperity.

Inaugurating the two-storey stage built within the premises of the Bahadure Secondary School at Bhadaure of Annapurna rural municipality – 4 in Kaski on Saturday, Minister Bishwokarma said youths’ engagement would now have to be sought in future programs.

Stating that the government was preparing a plan to undertake a campaign to make the country self-dependent through agriculture in the next five years, the minister said an environment will be created for youths’ involvement in entrepreneurship in the country.

On the occasion, former lawmaker Sita Giri Oli also said a prosperous country cannot be imagined without the development of the rural sector. RSS
