Kathmandu, May 27: The government’s policies and programs for the fiscal year 2018/19 have been passed unanimously from the House of Representatives meeting on Sunday.

The motion to pass the government policies and programs was tabled in the House meeting for decision after Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli responded to the concerns raised by the lawmakers on the policy and programs.

Prior to this, the amendment proposals by oppositions Nepali Congress and Rastriya Janata Party (RJP) were rejected by majority of votes. However, the Federal Socialist Forum Nepal lawmakers withdrew their amendment motions after the clarification from the PM.
