PM Oli asks workers not to protest for their rights

KATHMANDU, May 3: Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chair K P Sharma Oli has asked the workers not to stage protest for their rights because the left alliance government will address all problems.

At an interaction with the newly-elected new working committee of General Federation of Nepalese Trade Unions (GFONT), at his official residence in Baluwatar on Thursday, PM Oli assured them of addressing their problems.

The federation chair Binod Shrestha shared that the PM assured them of addressing their rights. Shrestha added that they raised the issue of implementing Labor Act, increasing the remuneration of workers among other issues with the PM.
