EC provides party registration certification to NCP

KATHMANDU, June 7: The Election Commission Thursday presented party registration certificate to Nepal Communist Party (NCP).

Chief Election Commissioner Dr Ayodhee Prasad Yadav presented the certificate to party General Secretary Bishnu Poudel.

General Secretary Poudel, leaders Subas Nembang and Dev Gurung, among others were present on the occasion.

Party unification between the then CPN-UML and CPN (Maoist Centrt) was held on May 17. Process for the registration of Communist Party of Nepal had begun on the same day.
