Draft proposal of ‘Regulations of HoR’ tabled

KATHMANDU, June 8: Draft proposal of ‘ Regulations of House of Representatives-2075’ has been tabled in the parliament on Friday.

The matter of development of the regulations was not able to move ahead for a long time due to lack of consensus between the ruling and the opposition side, especially on the number of parliamentary committees and whether to suspend MPs facing criminal charges.

An understanding was reached between two sides to take the regulations ahead after long discussion, it is learnt.

President of the Draft Committee, Krishna Bhakta Pokharel, tabled the proposal for clause-wise discussion on the draft proposal in today’s meeting of the House of Representatives. RSS
