Ailing neuro surgeon Devkota being taken to home town Gorkha

KATHMANDU, June 9: Dr Upendra Devkota, who is undergoing treatment gall bladder cancer at Neuro Hospital, Bansbari, is being taken to his hometown, Pandit gau of Gorkha after the neuro surgeon expressed his desire to rest at his house’s verdana and drink water from Sine Pani tap, according to reports.

He will be taken to his home village via helicopter. The ailing Devkota is kept in ventilator for the past five days. According to doctors, Devkota’s health condition is critical.

Earlier on Saturday, the family members of Devkota condemned the rumors of his passing away that flooded the social media.
