Prime Minister Oli not happy with ministers: Sources
KATHMANDU, July 2: Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli is not satisfied with the working style of some ministers, according to high placed sources.
A PM close source said that Oli is annoyed, especially with two ministers because the government is facing rigorous criticism due to their working method. PM Oli is also preparing to carry out a thorough evaluation of the ministers’ work owing that people have stopped keeping faith in the incumbent government which was formed just four months earlier.
The prime minister is fire especially with Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation minister Rabindra Adhikari after the rumors that he distributed a large amount of money to his cadres surfaced on the media. He has even warned minister Adhikari to correct himself saying that the opposition leaders found an excuse to criticize government due to his mistake, according to sources.
Oli is also not happy with Information and Communication Minister Gokul Baskota after the party leaders complained that Minister Baskota has not even properly done the departmental role.
A leader of Nepal Communist Party told Reporters Club that the prime minister is aware of the minister’s way of working in free will and is intending to take stern action against irresponsible ministers.
“The prime minister is facing a lot of criticism because the ministers have failed to work in line with his spirit. The ministers are focusing on themselves instead of working for public. The party has taken this as a serious concern,” he said.\
