TU senate meeting scheduled for July 21

KATHMANDU, July 3: The senate meeting of Tribhuvan University will convene on July 21, according to Registrar Dilli Ram Upreti.

The meeting which was called for May 6 was put off at the direction of Prime Minister and Chancellor of the University, KP Sharma Oli, after he disapproved of the meeting agenda.

Many policy-related works of the university like the process of making the university teachers working on part-time basis permanent, adjustment of posts, approval of the annual program and amending the TU Regulation to make it in line with the Public Purchase Act have been hampered due to the postponement of the senate meeting. RSS
