WHF international committee chair Singh no more
KATHMANDU, July 22: World Hindu Federation (WHF) International Committee Chair Bharat Keshar Singh passed away today while undergoing treatment at the Balkhu-based Bayodha Hospital. He was 82.
He was on the WHF key post for the second-term. The former major general of the Nepal Army had also served for the then royal family.
He had been admitted to the hospital following complications in urinary system. Of late, he was being treated for pneumonia and died from a cardiac arrest, according to WHF General Secretary Asmita Bhandari.
He is to be cremated at the local Pashupati Aryaghat today itself. His mortal body has been kept at the Bankali of Pashupatinath for last tribute. He is survived by three sons.
