NC’s support to Dr KC unfortunate: Dahal

KATHMANDU, July 23: Nepal Communist Party Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ on Monday said that it was unfortunate for a democratic Nepali Congress (NC) to support protesting Prof Dr Gobinda KC.

“NC’s existence is on the verge of an end as it is seeking various pretexts to obstruct the two-thirds majority government to do its job,” he said at the program organized to mark the 40th Memorial Day of Pushpalal by the Pushpalal Memorial Foundation.

Saying the NC’s activities have generated suspicion that it is trying to destroy federal democracy in the name of Dr KC, he said “KC had been on a strike many times when the NC was in the government. Now why the NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba is demanding the fulfillment of his demands by obstructing the Parliament?” RSS
